faq's
Are machines provided?
Sewing machines are NOT provided. You will need to bring your own machine and foot pedal. Electrical outlets are provided. If flying, I suggest making arrangements to carry on your machine in a travel bag.
Can I rent a machine?
Unfortunately machines are not available to rent.
Who should attend?
You! If you are a sewer looking for a fun, engaging, inspiring sewing retreat then Sew and Sew Retreats is for you.
What are the costs?
Tickets are $395.
Tickets DO include sewing and textile workshops, some class supplies, lunches, snacks and beverages and a few surprises.
Tickets do NOT include hotel or transportation.
What makes Sew and Sew Retreat different?
Sew and Sew Retreats are open to all sewing enthusiasts. The workshops and open sewing time give you a chance to come away from the weekend with finished projects in hand. You'll learn something new. Plus, you'll have free time to make new friends, relax, go to a resort's spa, shop, or explore the local scenery.
Do I need to bring any supplies?
Probably, you will receive an email with the list of supplies needed for a particular retreat prior to that particular weekend.
Are classes/workshops included?
Yes! The workshops are included in the ticket price of the retreat. Some supplies are provided. You will receive a supply list prior to the retreat with a materials list.
What kind of sewing experience do I need to attend?
Sew and Sew Retreat is for everyone from confident beginners to seasoned sewers. The workshops are diverse in skill level with complete instructions. You should have some prior sewing experience and be comfortable working your machine.
Will there be any free sewing time so I can work on my own projects in progress?There will be plenty of open sewing time too so bring your own works-in-progress with you.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are NOT refundable but they are transferable. If you are unable to attend after you purchase your ticket, you may make arrangements on your own for someone to buy your ticket from you. We just ask that you let us know who is coming in your place.
